Hello,

I need help ton configure KWT.
I have this configuration ( see attached file )

I have mad a gpx file and import in the software.
I start the training but :
- when the road climb a little ( a the start of the profile ) the resistance change a lot ( 250W) so the training is very difficult ( very easy/very hard.....) or ( 25W/250W)

Is it normal or not?
Could be the change no so Rough

What configuration to you use?

Thanks for the answer

Hello Louis,

first of all welcome here.

I have seen your configuration and the profile.

generally i would say Yes -> all is correct.

But why you don't use MTB-shifting instead of Trekkiing-bike?
-> would be easier -> minor Watt.

From the profile i can see that some gradients might be higher than 10%. A climb of 80 metres in less than 1 kilometer!!! That is not easy!

Why did you choose a 60% reality factor -> for beginners it is too high for 10% uphill gradients?.

2 days ago i trained in KWT a hillclimb with an over all climb of 700 HM in only 9 kilometres. I had an average of 300 Watt at RF 100% and RR-Shifting!
A year ago I tried this mountain in real with a Roadbike. In the end I had to surrender after 200 HM -> it was too much for me. Definately more than 300 Watt an average.

For camparing real with KWT you can choose 80% reality factor.

Out of the profile I might see that the trackpoint density was "enough". If the Watt are changing too quickly than you have set too less trackpoints per km.
Have you seen the PDF-File here in the forum for modifying
gpx-tracks for the KWT usage? -> Sorry it is in german but with screenshots.

greetings

Erik

Hello Erik

Thanks for your reponse.
I test this tomorrow

I have a question : What the signification of MTB in MTB shifting? is it Mountain Bike? I have the application in french it's VTT here icon_wink.gif.

If you have the PDF-File for modifying gpx-tracks for the KWT usage? I don't find it.
And i use a translator if necessary icon_smile.gif

Finaly i use the smooth factor when importing the gpx file so there are not quickly change.

I think there are a lot option to see, but i have time for this icon_smile.gif

Have a nice day

Louis
