Was working out on my Elyx 7 an hour (have it for about 3 months), after 50 minutes suddenly resistance was gone and speed was not recorded anymore. I was doing a user defined heart rate controlled training.
I switched the machine completely off (socket) and on again, same result.
I then did a factory reset and all was well again. Pity I was so worried that I had no patience to check out if I could save my data.

My questions are
-what's the probable cause / can I expect repeating
-I read that if the really is a problem I should contact my Vendor (Tiedje.de) in germany. I live in Holland. Would that normally mean I would have to send the machine back for repair? I am still tired of getting it in my room upstairs and assembling it, it would be quite impossible in fact.
