Hello everyone,
Has any Ergorace users encountered the following problem:
Pressing firmly on the pedal causes the drivetrain to slip: pedaling in a vacuum.
Light pedaling normally engages the flywheel.
It seems as if there's a problem with the drive belt, but that's not the case.
In fact, the problem persists after cleaning and replacing the belt.
The same applies when the Ergorace isn't plugged in: it's therefore a mechanical problem, not an electronic one.
I think the freewheel is the problem (called a safety freewheel according to Kettler), which, unless I'm mistaken, is integrated into the flywheel hub.
Does anyone know if a repair is possible, such as removing and replacing the freewheel hub, for example?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Joël
