Thanks for your reaction. Answers to your questions:
- Kettler Racer S (2013-2014 version, new with KWT included)
- Windows 8.1
- KWT 2.0.1.16
- Ewent Micro USB Bluetooth Receiver Class 2
- Bluetooth Software from Blue Soleil (latest "payed for" version; Blue Soleil Generic Bluetooth Driver)

The importer has so far been very helpfull but also with them the problem is not yet solved. I've received new Racer S displays from them and now I've got one that worked well at the importers facility but here still the same problem.
The bluetooth program finds the Racer S display without any problem and can connect with it without any problem.
KWT finds the Racer S but is not able to make a connection (see again the screen shots), no matter wat I try.

please take your smartphone and try a BT connection with your
KWT PC = Ewent Micro USB Bluetooth Receiver Class 2.

If this works try the same with your racer s (tutorial Video).

I think your Ewent Micro USB Bluetooth Receiver Class 2 might be the problem.

Please try a Bluetooth connection with your smartphone for checking the Ewent Micro USB Bluetooth Receiver Class 2 stick and your PC.


Next option -> maybe buying the belkin BT stick as shown in the tutorial. Attention with the belkin you must install the enclosed driver from the CD or from belkin! No Auto driver download via win7 or win8!

I have bought the belkin BT stick but I have no racer s....

Thanks again. My smartphone can link through Bluetooth with my PC. As written earlier, also the Racer S can connect with it. However connecting KWT with the Racer S just doesn't work.
I think your suggestion is a good one. Although it shouldn't make any difference in computerland sometimes things are a bit strange. I will follow your advice and will purchase the Belkin Bluetooth device. Hopefully - however strange - this will work .

I have an idea

How old is your racer S?
Is it a demo unit from your dealer?

The first racer s could only connect to 1 BT device
f.e. to 1 Smartphone or to KWT.

So please try deleting all BT Connections with racer s on your Smartphone.
Then try connecting the racer s with your pc.

Have you already tried to change to Microsoft BT stack.

Hallo Erik,

ich habe einen Racer S (12/2012) und kann mich mit KWT verbinden. Ich kann mich auch mit dem Smartphone verbinden, allerdings muss ich dann jedesmal die ganze Verbindungsprozedur von Neuem machen.

Heißt dass, das bei einem neueren Racer S dieser Aufwand nicht nötig ist, und mich Kettler (nach monatelanger Wartezeit auf KWT-Verbindung und iPhone) als (frühen) Kunden wieder verarscht ?

Wäre für eine ehrliche Antwort dankbar ...

Hast du das Bedienteil des Racer S also die Anzeige schon über den KETTLER Kundendienst austauschen lassen?

Du ich bin nur Privat KWT-User.
Deshalb sollten auf Deine spezielle Frage nur Kettler Mitarbeiter antworten...

Im KWT 2.0.1.16 ist so ein racer s Firmware Update-Tool (wenn hardwaretechnisch möglich) integriert. Da ich keinen racer s habe weiß ich nicht wie man dieses startet.
Dann siehst Du was los ist mit Deinem racer s.

Das FW-update-Programm meldet entweder:
1. Neueste Firmware ist schon drauf -> Idealfall.
2. neueste Firmware wird danach draufgespielt. Auch noch ok.
3. Hardware zu alt FW-Update nicht möglich wird ausgeworfen -> dann solltest Dir Deine Seriennummer vom racer s notieren und die Kettler Serviceline anrufen. Dann wird Dir wahrscheinlich von Kettler das Display = Displayplatine getauscht.
