Last week I had a problem with the electrical transformer of the Ergorace:

The eletrical problem was solved reaplacing the electrical transformer with a new one, but I have found that now, the watts of the ergorace have changed. For example, in the past I used to set the wattage at 200-250w, and now it is impossible to move these watts, now I have to set to 100-120 w. can somebody had any idea of how can I solve this new problem?

I think there are two posibble reasons for your problem:

the output voltage of your transformer is too high

or

the output voltage of your old transformer was too little

because the breaking power depends on the voltage at the magnetic break.

I think that the wattage in the past was correct, because I have
a Powertap Wheel in my outdoor bike and the feeling with the Powertap and the Ergorace was very similar in terms of wattage.
Now is different

It's possible that the calibration of the brake is lost during the usage of the old transformer. If its true I think you need to send the display of your ergo to KETTLER customer service.

At the moment the Platine (42860116) has been replaced and seems to be ok, I do not know when the machine is on during 60 min what will happen, but at firts trial seems to work OK

Has somebody had any problem with this part?
I mean, when the Platine fails, which are the "symptoms"?

I had also problems on my old Ergoracer. The break didn't open after 1 h with an load more than 250W. And the increase ore decrease was very slow. After I had open the Ergoracer I saw a lot a of salt on the platine. I had also other mechanical problems and problems with the display. My solution was to by a new Ergorace.
