KWT Forum: Can't connect my X3 ergometer to pc.

Hello

i've got an issue with the connection x3 to pc. I have installed the usb drivers then connected the ergometer to the pc via usb.

I have then, installed the world tour and then the demo version as well. ( I do not have the control panel, which is doesn't need as i am on demo version, i think)

I have also installed the connect-fit software. There is no recognition of x3 device on either world tour or connect-fit .

Could you pls help me it is driving me crazy.

Hello iroukantzi,

first of all welcome here.

I suggest first to deinstaall all KWT updates and Versions in Programs and Functions!
Then deinstall connect-fit.

-> no Kettler entry in Programs and Functions any more.

Then install the KWT 2.0 Demo again

You should only install connect fit after you get the KWT running.

Turn on your Kettler and plug of and on the usb cable. After replugging your PC should make a noise. If the pc doesn't there might be something wrong with the wireing or the USB driver.

I know from a bug of KWT 2.0.1.1 that some Kettler devices are not recognized by KWT. Maybe you have to wait for an update of the KWT Demo.

Thank you very much for your reply pal. I've done everything of what you asked me to do but still end up with the same problem. I managed to make connect fit works properly, but didnt have the same luck with KWT.

After the installation of KWT 2.0 i choose DEMO and then ergometer. But when am going to start the training thing , says " Still device" think is the problem you said about the drivers. Hope to have some update anytime soon.

you just got a PM.

About the USB Driver. Open the win device Manager and look if you see something in red or yellow.

Ideal should be nothing red or yellow and you should hear a noise from your PC when you unplug the USB Cable from your PC.

Do you here a sound or noise?
