Hi I've just purchased an ex demo Kettler Racer S from Fitness Superstore in the UK, the bike came already set up so no instructions were provided and no cables were given to me by the salesman. When peddling the display doesn't start up which suggests the cycle should have a mains power lead and after finding a manual on line, the graphic in the manual looks to confirm this. Can someone tell me whether the racer S should have a power cable supplied? If so I'll go back to the seller,

Yes, cable + power supply should be included.

racer S demo device and KWT usage

it depends on the device number of your racer s.
look at your frame down.

Every numbers besides 7988-700 are good
like 7988-750 or 7988-755 and so on.

IF 7988-700 your racer s display have to be changed by the Kettler support.

OK I'll need to speak to the store about the power supply and cable as they didn't give me one.

What is the demo device and KWT Usage?

I have checked the Article Nr. which on my racer is 07988-700 what is the problem with the display, do you know how I would go about getting it changed?

Its very annoying that the store gave me the racer in this condition so I will make a complaint to them.

KWT is the Kettler program here of this Website you can connect your racer s to an PC with KWT installed and can train with other KWT-User.
You can download the KWT Demo and test KWT for 1 Month for free on your PC..

The problems are the BT connections with your
07988-700 and that there is no pssibility to run KWT with the update buy Version = wireless without the kettler KWT Panel.

You can run the firmwareupdat.exe program -> in your Kettler folder when you have KWT installed or the KWT demo.

You have to do (try) a pairing PC -> Kettler after starting firmwareupdate.exe.

Firmwareupdate should show you what is to do.

possibilities:
1. neededcChange of the racer S Display/Computer -> inform your kettler dealer Serial Number.
2. To perform an update with firmwareupdate.exe.
3. Nothing -> have fun with your racer s.

I'll head back to the store today and pick up a power cable and then see where I get to, do you know if the version I have will connect to a smartphone via BT?

Also do you know whether is KWT compatible with Apple Mac PC's?

Hello Glenn,

Smartphone via S-Fit App.
I think the issue with the 700 is that only 1 BT pairing KWT or smartphone is possible
So dual use of S-Fit and KWT without display change might be a problem.

KWT should work with Parallels.

Use the Forum search Options with "Parallels".
I don't have an Apple.

Hi Erik, got the power cable and managed to get things working, the racer connected fine with my iPhone and I was able to use the s-fit app. I'll look into KWT later.
