Hi,

Bought the Kettler Unix S in late January, and it's been working wonderfully. However, in the past week or so, it sometimes starts to make a clicking sound at the flywheel area. This only occurs while pedalling, and not all the time.

For example yesterday I did some low-intensity training for 90 minutes. The sound started after 30 minutes, after which I pedalled backwards for a moment. The sound went away. Then I continued pedalling forwards and the sound came back after 20-30 minutes or so. Pedalled backwards, but the sound didn't go away this time. Sometimes it can get very loud.

Any ideas what might be the problem and how to solve it? Is it connected to the flywheel or the belt and if so, is there something I can do about it?

Note the Serial number of your unix S.
Please contact your Kettler dealer should be a warranty case.

Maybe it is the rpm magnet or the tension spring?

The bad thing at the moment is that this fault will occur accasionally.... So when a repait team will be at your kettler and everything is silent.....

Many thanks for your reply. I contacted the dealer and they've forwarded my case to the Kettler team, who should contact me in the coming days.

So they actually usually come to one's home to look at the equipment? (Would be very inconvenient if I had to move the crosstrainer myself)
