I hope someone can help me. I have used my Kettler Racer S and World Tours 2.0 for years, several times every week with no problems using bluetooth connection on my old Windows 8.1 laptop.

The Windows 8.1. laptop cannot be used anymore so I tried to connect to another laptop with windows 10 and upgraded to World Tours 3.0.

But now my bluetooth on Windows 10 cannot find the Kettler Racer S at all, and therefore it is not possible to pair the Racers to my laptop.

I have tried reset the Racer S, but that did not help. I can see that the bluetooth drivers installed on windows 10 is "Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM protocol TDI)" and "Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0" and something in Danish called "Microsoft Bluetooth-optælling"

I have also tried to se if Windows 10 would install older hardware as I read that the Racer S uses Bluetooth V 3.0, but that was not possible and all newer versions bluetooth should work with older versions.

All my other bluetooth devices are shown on Windows 10.

The Kettler Racer S is also found and paired on my iphone, so I know the bluetooth is working.

I would really appreciate help as I miss my training

first of all welcome here.
Racer S which built year ?

1. Every Kettler can only have ONE!!!!! BT connection at the same time. So if you want to pair your Kettler with a KWT PC while BT on your phone is enabled. Nothing will be found.
Because the Win10 PC is already connected or wants to connect via BT to your other BT device (IPhone).

So if you want to connect your Kettler with your BT KWT PC.
Turn of all not used BT devices first.

@ Racer S with premium display only -> You have to set at the racer S display Bt to APP/KWT and not to BT Heartbeat) Stay in BT Menue of your Premium display

Then start with the Win 10 BT connection.
Start win 10 at KWT PC.
Go to the taskbar in Win 10 -> click BT symbol.
Your Kettler is already turned on.
Go to add BT device.

A Device should be found in Win 10 connect
@ Racer S with Premium Display look at the Kettler display if a code is shown type in this code for BT connection in Win 10.
@ Racer S older than 2017 after pressing search for new BT devices hold the middle button a few seconds flashing blue than in Win 10 connect with the code shown on the Racer s.
Save this BT connection (newer and older Racer S).
It can also be a BT audio microphone etc. -> don't care connect and save its the racer S.

Then start KWT on the pc. Log out your user and click to settings. Delete all prior Kettler devices!)
Than go to add device go to BT on the left pull down dropdown and select your named Racer S. (Maybe with a racer S older than 2017 you have to pair again with holding blue button).
Than save your Kettler device and have fun with KWT.

@ Racer S with BT APP/KWT you have nothing to set or choose the racer connects the first BT signal found. (First come first serve) So if you wants to go back to Kettmaps turn off your BT KWT PC and do the BT connection with IPhone again.

Thank you for taking time to answer me.

It is older than 2017. I am not sure about the exact year but serial number is 915001020 and display is not premium.

I have not yet been able to go beyond the BT pairing with Windows 10.

I have disconnected all other BT devices and I don't use Kettler on iphone. Only tried to see if it would connect on iphone after trying on Windows 10 for a couple of days.

I also tried to find the Kettler BT on my childrens Mac Book and both find the Kettler BT. The only PC that cannot find the Kettler BT device is my Windows 10 PC with KWT 3.0 installed.

So the problem must be my Windows 10 PC. But again my PC do find every other BT device I have.

Any other suggestions are welcome

Important.
I need the part number of your racer S -like 7988-500
You can find it on the manual or under the removeable right back cover from the brake wheel.

Maybe your KWT PC already has a BT Pairing -with a audio device
microphone or headphone -> yes this is your racer S! So please delete this bt pairing restart PC and retry the BT pairing. (hold middle Trigger for longer than 4 seconds). While your PC searches for BT devices.

If you own a Racer S 2015/16. Do a reset at your Kettler.

1. set Watt higher than 25 Watt, so "+" and "-" keys are lighted.
2 Then press and hold 3 Keys at the same time "+", "-" and "Watt" for about 7 seconds.
3.Then unplug the power cord of your racer S for more or about 10 seconds.
4. Plug in the power cord and wait for 1 Minute then the display will start again.
5. Reset done!
Try again a new BT connection.

Go to Wolfgangs posting and download from there Firmwareupdate .exe.

Start firmwareupdate.exe and make a complete NEW BT Pairing with your Racer S. Hold middle Trigger for 4 seconds blue flashing light.
