Hello,

Just received WT 2.0 and have been trying to install over the weekend for my Ergorace. I am using Windows XP SP3.

Installation proceeded without error of WT 2.0 and 2 updates 2.0.0.6 and 2.0.07 after uninstalling and reinstalling after a failed install. USB driver and USB Serial adapter installation goes fine. I am using USB from Ergorace to computer and serial to USB for controller Adding device is as expected and is applied.
When I go to training and hit start I receive error dialog box " error with device. reset device". Also in the lower left corner below logoff, the device is listed as Ergorace but is says (out of order).

Any help would be appreciated? Thank you

first of all welcome here.

What about pressing the left button of your Ergorace display=computer not one "red" button of the panel
before you start the training.

Do you have firmware 173 or 216 installed on your ergorace?

See your manual on page 14 and 15 how to check your firmware version. -> should be 173 or 216.

Thank you for your suggestions. My firmware is 173 which I think is the latest for my device. After systematically going through your suggestions, I had the same result. I checked the ports on my computer and it looked good, COM 3 Silicon Labs, COM 4 USB Serial which matched the setup in WT 2. But still said Device Ergorace (Exercise Bike) (out of order). The controller worked fine in navigating the Menus. I was just about to send a screen shot when I turned the power switch on the bike off, then back on. Everything seems to be working now. Brilliant! Thanks again for your guidance. It got me thinking of additional things.
