Hello, new here, but I realy need help so I can go racing !!When I want to start using my ergoracer it seems that even when the display indicates 25W it still gives a lot of resistance, if I push the arrows of the wattage up or down doesn't make a difference, it stays the same.When the power cord is out(no electricity) it pedals easy away, so the wheel isn't blocked. When I put the power cord back in, I realy have to push hard Watt + of - = no difference.... And yes I can push hard enough .Can anyone please give me a tip how to fix this ?
Firmware update of something or just bring it back to the original setting (but how)

I think your ergoracer is older than 3 years....

I have had exactly the same issue.
In my case it was a broken power supply.
but It can be a broken power platine (where the wires go to the coils) too.

To get an Ergo back with axactly the same braking resistant you need your calibration sheet which was sent with your ergo.

In this sheet there are a Cal# Number and a Ver# number.
If you order a new power supply at your Kettler dealer ->please give Kettler these numbers.

And yes an uncalibrated power supply is no fun!

I know the price of my new INTERNAL power supply für my Ergo Race....
It was not cheap !

A new platine might be much cheaper...

@Calibration, out of my experiences -> strictly recommended!
YES!!! -> At least for all internal power supplies.

Look at my Kettrace results from 5. December up to 5 January 2014. -> They are normal.
->Compare with my Kettrace number 19 result -> this was with a not calibrated power supply. That race was no fun see my heartbeat + Watt average...

As already written -> when you order (buy) a new power supply take your calibration sheet with you.

I need an external power supply, but I think I can just go by my electrician and get one, the 07988-600 ergoracer doesn't have an internal power supply (I hope )...
I'll let you know later on today

In terms of the calibration . Can I do it myself via a computer or so ?

Hello Tom,

I had to send my ergo to the original Kettler calibration site in Germany.

Maybe you have luck and there is not so an enormous difference with your new power supply like I experienced.

I think at home calibration might only work well with garmin vector or polar powermeter pedals...
