Entschuldigung aber habe ich vergessen wie sollte ich die neue version download.
Ich habe eine 1.1
Was sollte ich jetzt fuer die neue version machen ?

falls noch nicht installiert das Update:

Danach den Patch wenn das Gerät keinen Front USB Anschluss hat:

Let's turn it into English for a better understanding.
The New updated version is more realistic than the previous One ?
My worries are:
1. With the previous 1.1 I always needed to adjust the tracks with Track Analyse for slopes and ascent. Does the New version need the same operation ?
2. The version 1.1 did not seem to reply indoor the same power outdoor. I mean the differences were sometimes too high.
3. I must admit that although I love my Ergorace I tested the Tacx Bushido and I had the sensation to be much more on the road, both for watts, slopes, speed, ecc What do you think the advantages against the Tacx are with this New version of the WT ?

The power calculations are the same as in 1.1

The big problem with the realistic is the difference to a real bike. The brake has no mechanical contact. You can drive high RPMs but outdoor you never would get there.

To 1.:
The track importer is improved but if the track is in an area where the height data is not so good it has the same problems.

To 2.:
Answered above.

To 3.:
I never used Tacx but it is another world. The biggest advantage of KWT is the freedom of use your own tracks and this online community. Tacx has some good tours but you need to buy every one seperate. And doing always the same tours is not realy good. But I never used it so this is only my opinion.

Thank you for the reply. I will your patience for a few more questions.

Foreword:
Consider eventually that I dont want to take benefit of both my own tracks and the community.
Consider that my only target is training with exercises just based on power.

1. When you say that with the ergorace I cannot reach the same RPM as in outdoor, you mean that during a training the power I express is the same as in outdoor but only the rpm are different ?
2. How can I be sure that the levels I reach indoor can be then replicated outdoor ? If they are different how can I know how much are they different ?

The questions regarding the Tacx were due to the fact that with that system I had the impression to feel much more the same sensations of when I am outdoor.

I will purchase the new 2.0 but I need for the next season to understand more in detail how can I programm my winter trainings. I do not want to wake up in spring racing outdoor with a completely different shape than the One I supposed to have built indoor.

I tried to explain that an ergorace has no mechanical Connection to the street or Underground you have outdoor. therefore you can have high rpm in situations where you outdoor cannot have high rpm.

The Speed calculations in KWT are made with an 24 gearset of a real bike and the cut the gears that not realy usable or twice.

All other differences between outdoor and indoor are based on the reality factor and the height/slope Profile of the track. The height data is taken in an 90 meter grid. For some Areas we have 10 meter but only in U.S. in some states.
The smoothing of the height Profile you done with track analyse or directly in KWT helps to make the track more flat but it could also be too flat.

The reality factor is to make tracks easier or to get strong tracks done in less time. I often read that 80 % is good for nearly real Training.

But the main Thing you go from your foreword is that when you only drive power based programs you have no reality. 200 Watts are 200 Watts. There is no difference when you drive outdoor 200 Watts its the same.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply but i was abroad the last couple of weeks. Thank you for your reply and the explanation. It seems a bit clearer now.
Regarding the gps track analyse I remember I printed the manual with all the instructions on how to use it. Now I cannot find this manual anymore. Do you know where I can download it again ?
Thank you again for now. I will probably have more questions once I start to use the KWT 2.0
