Hi all.
Having to look into buy a stand alone PC for my Racer S .
I was going to use a old PC that had been in store for a few years.
I matched the specs .
However it would not start up anymore.

So now I am looking for info on what people are running here on these forums.

I have been looking at Micro PC's or small format , these would fit in with our bike placement .

A micro would be better has that could be fixed behind our Monitor a direct onto the wall.

Been looking at Intel i3 series and i5 series , with 4 gigs ram and up to 1 tb on the drive.

All these micro PC's use the built in Intel Graphics processor found all their CPU's since the a few years back.

I know they work quite well, I had to run one in that format for a few days the other year when my GPU card gave up.

So I think they should be able to run the Graphics and video sides in KTW2 ,but I would like some user feedback before committing to buying PC fro this usage .

Also the web site states 4 gigs ram , so is KWT running in 64bit mode ? so it can use over 4 gigs of ram were as 32bit is limited to 3 gigs.

The only issue I can see with using built in CPU Graphics is it share the same 4 gigs , that the program needs to use & that could lead to performance issue's

This may not be a issue seeing has this will only be getting used for the trainer and nothing else so not cluttered with other apps running in the back ground.

I have read about some people having choppy video when using older PC's

I know there are options like Kett Maps I have that but I want to get the the more all in one KTW running & a bigger screen fixed on the wall , I can then also stream the likes of The S-Fitt App & Kett Maps via Chrome cast or Via a Samsung docking station through my spare Monitor.

But I just want to get things up & running now while I still have a few days off work left. wish all a good weekend and a Happy Newyear .

Looks like I will be using my current gaming PC then.
for the short term.

it is due for been upgraded this year so I do not want to.
building two new ones this year.

This is an i5 @ 4 gigs
AMD 480 with 8 gigs GDDR 5.
Two SSD's
Three HDD making up 3Tb's.
and a strong 800 watt PSU.
and the standard Blue-ray /DVD drive

Then this will become the PC for the Racer S once a build a new main PC.

Ok I omitted one important bit of info our Racers S is the older model think that was the version 2015/16

So not the same as the new RR bar version with the new control panel.

Since I have an heavy cold right now I am not the one using the bike that is my wife but I am still sorting all the other fitting out . While searching for more advice or just reading through the forums here.

I have only opened the KWT 2 box with the sealed install disc plus three real life videos for use with KWT.

For now I have just been getting her's and my posistion's set up so we both understand how everything works.

Like I said we have used the app so far ,I hope to get more time with on once this cold as cleared up.

I noticed the latest updates in the forum yesterday.

Should have a bit more time tommrow to start messing with the basics of getting KWT installed.
