Hi,

I have had a Racer S since 2014 and it has developed the intermittent loss of resistance that I have seen described in a couple of posts. This occurs when using the bike with and without a computer. The cure appears to be the be replacement of the lower circuit board . Kettler UK were unable to help me, informing me that the Kettler Factory has shut down permanently. I decided that I had nothing to lose and took the housing off the bike to expose the board. It doesn’t look difficult to replace, but are there still any in existence? I have attached a photo of the board.

Thanks,

Gilbrek

Hi Gilbrek,

looks like cold solder joint right next to the coil.

Greetings

Racer S

Thanks, Hubes_03, and everyone else who has taken the trouble to read this, but I lack the ability to repair the board. It looks like I just have a piece of expensive junk left in my garage. It cost £1300 (exchange rate to euro at the time about 1.6) and lasted 6 years. Not impressed at all. I'm thinking of buying an Elite turbo trainer in Autumn and taking the Racer S to the dump.

So it's auf wiedersehen form me,

Gilbrek
