Yes, most likey there is a solution for you. My old friend the Ergoracer just finished its first race in Watopia. The Ergoracer uses a serial connection to the PC. As far as I know the Tour S uses solely Bluetooth. This should work as well - however has not been tested so far. The way it works:
1. You need an Android tablet or smartphone which supports ANT+(many Samsungs will do the trick).
2. There is a brilliant guy (not me) who developed an App which transfers your bike into a smart trainer.
3. Now that you have an ANT+ device you can connect via an ANT+ stick to a PC and use Zwift, Bkool etc.

That is really a great new ypu gave to me! I have only a further question, do you have the name of the App? I would greatly appreciate if you can give me this last important info!
Thanks a lot!

I would be really interested in this as well.

Would be great if KWT could act as the converter?

Ian.

Hi Ian,
Since this is an hardware issue there is nothing KWT can do. That's why you need the Android device with ANT+. You can find the app "ergoK" at http://ergo.ub-online.de
The app works perfectly fine and stable for serial connections. There are some issues with the bluetooth connection for the S-models that need to be fixed.

Hi,

Has anyone used this software with Zwift? If so - what did you think?

Thanks.

Hi Ian,

yes, I'm using a Kettler Racer S Mod. 2018 with Zwift, and with the Ergo-K App from Uwe Böhm it is working fine.

The only things you really need, is an additionally ANT+ Stick for the Android device (Samsung has normally built in 3 channels, but you need more) and an ANT+ Stick for your computer/notebook.

The Ergo-K App will then translate the BLE protokoll from the Racer S to ANT+ in both directions.

I am looking to do the same.

Am my ‘devices’ are Apple (although the laptop I use for my bike is windows). Do I have to use an Android device?

If so, any recommendations as to what to get. I would just be using it to connect my old Racer S in such a way that I could use Zwift.

Any advice appreciated.

All my ‘devices’ (phones and tablets) are Apple (although the laptop I use for my bike is windows). Do I have to use an Android device?

I connect my laptop to a screen - could it work if I bought an Android TV?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi kit man, Seems, that you must use a android device for connection. Uwe has not developped a app for is. Look at the Diagramm on his Site. .
