I've just bought the world tours from a danish dealer (sagatrim).

My ergometer is the X7 and it connects via USB - no problem.

But i can't get the control panel to work with the english 64 bit windows 7 on rather new lenovo x220.

I've updated all drivers and software with the newest download.

I've even tried another seriel 2 usb adaptor. The software recognizes the seriel ports and the x7 is found (com 18 ). No matter if i let it search for the control panel or select is manually (com 16 ) it can't find the control panel.

I've tried the control panel on another pc running windows xp and there the control panel is working. So it is not a hardware defect. (It is my wifes pc running xp - can't keep it hooked up for world tour

Any hint to get it working on a 64bit windows 7 ?

Did you use the drivers for usb converter from here?

After Installation did you restart your PC?

Have you hold one key down when selecting the com port?

The hint was holding down one of the keys when selecting the com port.

On the XP pc it worked fine selecting the com port and then holding down the key. Guess that computer was so slow that i could get away with it...

When the software find the ergometer by usb i get a popup-box with the instruction for the control panel. Maybe that could use a rewrite since i did not understand the importance of holding down the key before selecting the com port

first of all welcome here.

You have to press "search" under Panel Port twice!!!

The first time without holding a red Arrow on panel.

There should appear a panel port number.

Then press one "res Arrow" Key on the Panel whhle clicking again "search" with the Mouse Button.

Then you have to press the other 3 red Arrows..

Done.
