Hallo
I have downloaded GPS track analyse. Erik helped me sometime ago to adjust some gpx.files KWT could not recognize as they exactly were.
Now I wanted to do it myself but GPS-Trackanalyse does not succeed in opening the files I want to check.
Can somebody tell me the reason ?

Hello giorgio,

1.can you open it via import on the gpsies.com platform?
When this works export it again out of gpsies.com as gpx-track and then again try open it via GPS-TA.

thank you for the always prompt reply.
I did not understand very well the point 1 of your reply.
In fact I initially created the file with Gpsies. Should I load it again to Gpsies and then download it ?
I will try anyway.

Anyway, one of the files I am trying to open is herewith attached, but there are more.
I have the doubt that my trouble is due to the fact that normally I use Compegps to open these files, and maybe Gps Trackanalyse does not recognize it.

Hi Giorgio,

I opened the file with GTA 6.004 and I had no problems.
Note: you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.x
for GTA 6.xxx.

Because on my system GPS_TA runs well I tuned your track with srtm Data.
Try opening this file.

with point 1 I suggested that you should import your gpx File at
http://www.gpsies.com and then export it again as gpx in case of a bad file convertation.

I'm really sorry to bother you but unfortunately GTA dies not work. I installed Framework 4.0 but I had no result.
What can be the trouble ? I would like for the future to do everything myself, and like to find a solution.

I think there is something wrong with the gpx-Files
-> look at the error masage..

Try to epen this gpx. file

Try to reinstall GTA.

here I am again.
I changed the laptop and now GPS Trackanalyse is ok.
Can you tell me now how can I smoothen the track data ?
(Maybe one day I succeed and will not bother you anymore !)
